Three years into my PhD, and I can hardly believe it’s already nearing the end. It has been full of learning, networking, writing, scientific communication, and finalizing the experiments for my thesis.
Over the last year, I took part in the EMBO workshop on predictions meeting experiments in structural biology, an Open Science workshop, and the Long Night of Science exhibition at the University of Graz. I also helped co-organize the BiodeCCodiNNg final conference, where I presented my project to the #biocat community, and our recent work was published in ChemBioChem. Another highlight was my academic secondment at the University of Groningen, where I worked with Simon Schröder and Prof. Sandy Schmidt.
Huge thanks to all the collaborators and colleagues who made it fun, and to Prof. Karl Gruber for his unlimited guidance. On to the last stretch 💫✨
