I have completed my second year of my #PhD at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology and it has been an incredibly interesting and productive year.
Over the course of this past year, I was able to promote biocatalysis at the University of Zagreb’s MUZZA festival, as well as present my research at two conferences, namely AmineBioCat in Aachen and 29HSKIKI in Split. We also held a consortium meeting and process engineering workshop here in Zagreb and it was wonderful to host the other members of the consortium here.
On the research side, I have been able to obtain large amounts of interesting data about the behavior of my enzymes and I can see myself coming closer and closer to my final goal.
