Last month, Lan Julij Zadravec and colleagues from the Department of Reaction engineering and Catalysis at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology had the wonderful opportunity to present the principles of biocatalysis to younger generations and hopefully inspire them to pursue their own studies in this field.
Our #workshop, “The sweet secrets of enzymes” was held at the MUZZA festival, which was organized by the University of Zagreb. We demonstrated the various uses of #enzymes in the preparations of food and drinks and showed the usefulness of #biocatalysis in everyday life.
The promotion of #science is an important part of the work we do and it was great to see the children’s enthusiasm for the power of enzymes.
