Today in the Meet the DCs series … Lilla Gal!
Hello! I’ve been enjoying the PhD life at the University of Graz for the past 4 months, and it’s been quite a journey so far! 🎓
First things first, I’ve completely settled into my research group, and I’ve made some awesome friends along the way. What’s really cool is that our group is super diverse, with people from all around the world, which has been an eye-opening experience in itself. 🌎🌍🌏
Speaking of diversity, I’ve also become a pro at navigating the streets of Graz on my trusty university bike. Though I have to admit, getting caught in the rain is never fun, and it happens quite a bit here in Graz. 🚲☔
Now, let’s talk work! My research on CC enzymes is off to a promising start, and I’m already seeing hints that they could offer some exciting alternatives in the world of organic chemistry. Of course, there are a few roadblocks and challenges to overcome, but I’m here to tackle them head-on. 🛣
I know my journey through these PhD years will be filled with ups and downs, but I’m excited about all the learning and growth that is ahead.
