We are thrilled to announce that Simon Schröder’s paper “Enhancing biocatalytical N-N bond formation with the actinobacterial piperazate synthase KtzT” has been published in Molecular Catalysis! 🙌 Congratulations to Simon, his colleagues and his former supervisor Dirk Tischler! 👏 This #paper is the first of many that our #BiodeCCodiNNg researchers will publish during their journey of identifying, understanding and applying novel C-C and N-N bond-forming #biocatalysts.
In their paper, the team from Bochum and Groningen gives insight into the characteristics of the promising #NNzyme KtzT. 🔍 They established methods for producing and analyzing this enzyme and its reaction, and present a refined structural model to identify key structures targeted for further investigations. 🧪
